The Beach Boys Inspired AceTee is a men’s organic cotton T-shirt in blue, featuring artwork inspired by a favourite Beach Boys compilation album from the 1970s. Made from soft 180g organic cotton with a relaxed fit, it’s designed for everyday casual wear throughout spring and summer.

The artwork on this AceTee is inspired by a well-worn Beach Boys compilation album from the 1970s. It’s where I first heard many of those great songs, and I’ve always loved the cover. To my younger self it summed up everything that made surf culture so appealing – sunshine, freedom and optimism – and of course that lifestyle influenced so much of the music and clothing we still enjoy today.

Rather than reproducing the original artwork, we’ve taken the feeling it gave us and worked it into our own 66 design. We’re really pleased with how it has come out.

The fabric is 180g organic cotton, soft, lightweight and ideal for everyday wear. They wash well too, as long as you follow the care instructions below.

The AceTee has a relaxed, casual fit. It is slightly more generous than our Downing Tees, so if you usually wear an XL in 66 Clothing this may feel a touch roomier than a Gabicci or some of our other tops. Please consult the size chart below.

Our Thoughts

This is one of those T-shirts that simply makes you think of summer. Whether you’re heading to the coast, away on holiday or just enjoying a warm evening in the garden, it’s an easy tee to throw on with shorts or jeans.

If, like us, you’ve grown up listening to The Beach Boys, surfing documentaries or 60s music in general, you’ll probably understand exactly where this design comes from.

The blue colour works well with denim, stone chinos or shorts. We’d probably wear it with our Dewey shoes, Gola trainers or any of our summer footwear.
