The Gabicci Archive Di Lello is based on one of the brand’s original 1970s designs, combining a smart knitted polo shape with subtle colour and texture.

The front features a fine black and camel micro-knit pattern, framed by plain black sleeves and a full button-through placket. Fine camel tipping highlights the statement collar, button placket, chest pocket and cuffs without making the design feel too busy.

A neatly shaped chest pocket adds to the period look and is finished with Gabicci’s embroidered “G”. The original-style Gabicci neck label and branded buttons complete the Archive appearance.

This is one of those tops that can replace a shirt when you want to look smart without feeling overly formal. Wear it buttoned up with black or stone trousers and loafers, or leave the top few buttons open and pair it with dark denim.

The black and camel combination has a strong early-1970s feel, but the restrained colours make it particularly easy to wear today.
