This top is to the highest standards using soft cotton. If you own one of our recent Day Tripper or Help tops, you already know how nice our T-shirt material feels.
The styling of this top is incredibly versatile. It pairs perfectly with jeans, whether classic blue, white, or any other colour, as well as the traditional desert boots. There are countless ways to wear it!
Sizing
I am XL in 66 Clothing Jackpot Shirts, Polos & Jackets, as well as Gabicci, and the XL is the same in these. The T-shirt is tighter than a Gabicci, but not overly so. So stick with size.

I always read the reviews on Modshoes before purchase and in this case I’m glad I did.
I was very taken with the look of this Tshirt and was looking at buying but some of the reviews are a bit hit ‘n’ miss.
Some say it’s a bit long in the body which put me off immediately as I don’t really want to tuck it into my trousers, losing the silhouette straight away.
Others say the sleeves are a bit baggy!
I feel the look should be as close as possible as the ones shown with Steve wearing the original.
I appreciate it can be tailored but, why would I spend money on a Tshirt only to spend even more to have it fit me correctly?
It’s a different story if an item is vintage and needs tweaking to get a perfect fit, but not a new item.
So, for this time at least, Modshoes, I’m ducking out on a purchase.
I’ve bought numerous items over the years and have no complaints otherwise. All have been superb in quality and fit 👌

Thanks for the honest feedback — it’s always appreciated.
Just to clarify, the length and sleeve fit of the T-shirt are both based on industry-standard measurements. That said, we understand that fit can feel different depending on individual body shape and style preference.
Because it’s a T-shirt (rather than a knit or top designed to be worn out over trousers), it’s made with a bit of extra length so it sits properly when tucked in — especially when sitting down, to avoid it riding up at the back. I’ve worn mine plenty of times and personally feel it balances well, though I get that for some, an inch shorter might feel better.
It’s always a tough call getting these details right for everyone, but we really do take all this on board. Thanks again for the support and for sharing your thoughts — it genuinely helps.

Great quality but as others have said a little on the long side and arms are a loose fit , so had mine altered by the mrs .

Nice thick t-shirt, but not perfect. As per another review, it’s a little on the long side, great if you’re tucking it in, but not so great untucked.
The arms are a little on the baggy side too, unlike the one Mr McQueen is wearing in the photo.
