These stylish shoes have a real retro feel and we absolutely love them ! Called “The Dusty” after 60’s icon Dusty Springfield, we feel that these gorgeous shoes will suit those looking for the elegance of 40’s, 50’s and 60’s styling. They look amazing with a dress or workwear, but work equally well with jeans or casuals. The Dusty really is the “go to” shoe for any occasion.
If you are looking for a shoe that combines elegance with all day comfort, then the Dusty is the one for you. The heel height is 3 inches, but because of the sturdy block shape, you just don’t feel that “wobble” that makes a more spindly high heel a scary prospect !

As far as sizing is concerned, the Dusty is fairly true to normal UK size. If you are between sizes, then probably best to go down rather than up. Width-wise they are generous and should accommodate most widths of feet.
The classic cream and black is such a versatile colour, and will match with practically any outfit. They would look fab with jeans, but are smart enough for formal wear too. I ordered the Dusty shoes in red and in cream/black. I wish I could have kept them both! They are stunning shoes. They are to go with a wedding outfit, so I have chosen to keep the cream/black ones. I absolutely love them – they are so striking and different and really comfortable! They are beautifully made also. I’m a size 3 with slightly broad feet and these are a perfect fit for me. The heel is fairly high, but honestly are the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn. I really recommend these shoes and I’m going to save up for another pair! Delivery was very quick and there is a free returns label, which I really appreciate.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful, and are a classical pair that will go with anything. This is my third pair from Mod Shoes and the quality is excellent! I never buy shoes as I find it so hard to find ones that fit me and don’t rip the backs of my feet to shreds, but spotted these and thought wow! I need these as my bridal shoes.
