Ladies Princes – Black Tassel Loafers – Mod Ska Skinhead Style

4.75 out of 5

These are the ladies version of the very popular Princes. They are an absolute classic in terms of style, and have all the correct details like the ones back in the day.

These shoes really remind us of SKA and Two Tone days, where you would see countless people in these. The leather sole makes them excellent purchase if dancing is important for you, we are thinking “Northern Soul”

The shoes are all leather, leather sole etc. In terms of the styling, they have been copied from a pair from the early 80s, which a friend of modshoes, had kept since then.

Straight out of the box they are very comfortable.

PLEASE BE AWARE, These are a mens shoes made smaller. The sizing for ladies is good, but they are a little wider than high street shoes. Stick with size for first try.

Also when trying the shoes on, they must be snug and not loose. A loafer grows by about 1/8 to 1/4 inch after 4 – 5 hours. Our advice is if you try them and they are loose, send them straight back for a smaller size. If they are a little snug put on some thick socks and watch telly for 4 – 5 hours and they will be good.

The half rubber heel isnt good for Northern soul dancing even though it mentions it in the write up. Always a 6 (39) I find these tight to put on but OK when on. Nicely made.
