Its a knitted top and super soft and comfortable to wear.
In the images of Weller these are taken back stage Top Of The Pops 1982 , before performing ‘Beat Surrender’ you can see Foxton and Buckler in Lonsdale etc. I am told by a certain Terry Rawlings he brought it in France !
