The Sutherland is a classic Sweatshirt, the important part to us , was to get a retro stripe, but also use as similar as possible material
We chose this loopback cotton jersey deliberately, because it’s the kind of fabric that was commonly worn in the 1950s and 1960s, before sweatshirts became heavy and over-engineered. The unbrushed looped back keeps it breathable and light, with a clean, structured handle. It’s exactly the sort of material you’d have worn back in the day
The colours of this top are really vintage retro looking, the vintage white, is a nice retro feel , we are very pleased, and think its something you could see lots of 60s bands inc, especially Small Faces
The weight is 330gram, and very similar to The Downings we started doing last year.
Of course you can wear this anywhere, and styling is dead easy, Jeans and Desert Boots , or on holiday with shorts and summer shoes.
Sizing – These do come up big and are based on a Jumper fit, so to wear as a top , i would go down a size, in Gabicci i am XL in these i am Large .Please consult sizing chart below
