These boots have been taken from a pair that was developed in the 80s based on a pair from the 70s ! We think they have that real ‘Hard Mod’ feel about them
Notice they are square at the front and not rounded, like a lot of Brogue boots are.
The leather we used is super good and not all like you see on the high street. They take a good polish, and we deliberately did this as we thought you would want to polish these to an inch of their lifes.
The design is Exclusive to us, and you will not see these anywhere else
At present there 3 colours, Oxblood, Black and Rich Brown, have a Leather sole, and the leather upper is soft enough to wear straight away.
You will be pleasantly surprised how nice they are
Sizing & Wearing InÂ
These are made from very good leather, and will wear in quickly. If you are wide foot, go up. A wide 8.5 would have a 9, where as a normal would stick with size.Â
In terms of their looks these will work with a multitude of outfits, inc Jeans, Coloured jeans, Trousers & obviously a suit. We could suggest many colour combinations, but a fave would be Prince of Wales, Tweed or Chequered Trousers for that Peaky Blinders look.
Techs:
Upper : Oxblood Leather
Sole : Leather
Inner : Leather
Sizes : UK3 to UK12
Mens Sizing
We use the following size conversions. Please be aware that different designs are designed to be bigger than others. We try our best on the product page to mention sizing.
Men’s Sizes
| UK | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 |
| Euro | 40 | 41 | 42 | 43 | 44 | 45 | 46 |
| US | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 |
Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

When they got despatched, the delivery was prompt.
The boots themselves are usual, Mod Shoes value for money, the leather upper is very soft and for me didn’t need breaking in .
With the 9holes you do get decent leg coverage too, which l like .
Compared to Loake Buford’s they are definitely lighter and more comfortable coming out of the box than the Loakes…

I waited for these to be restocked and as soon as they were I didn’t hesitate to buy, These boots are so stylish and just quality throughout, It’s the second pair of boots I’ve bought from Mod Shoes the other being the Monkey’s version 5 and I must say if your looking for quality then look no further.

I was looking for a sharp boot that would bridge the gap between shoes and more casual footwear. These are a super good alternative to the usual skinhead boots. Polish up really well, really comfortable from the first wear and look amazing. They look so good worn with some sta prest and a blazer. Just make sure you get your mam to take your trousers up for you so you can show them off properly!

I have always wanted this style of boots, but no one made them for years, until Mod Shoes. Well what can I say about these boots, they are fantastic and I have just got my second pair for Christmas from the wife in black and I have had an Oxblood pair since Mods shoes bought these out and I love them. They take no breaking in, very comfortable, nice leather, good quality and get a good shine and have worn them for a for a good few hour and even had them on for a good 16 hours once with lots of walking and had no blisters or sores. The as for Mod shoes they are very helpful, great service and are now one of my places for buying mine and my wife’s shoes and even clothes. Great stuff Mod Shoes keep up bringing out this great stuff!

These boots are incredible! My new favorites! They look so sharp with my 3 piece suits! I also love the Shelby Boot but the difference with these is they are high enough that they don’t snag on my trousers! Will defo buy again!
