Super-fast delivery, excellent service! Great shoes, classic shape and such a versatile colour. Built to really last, and you can get them re-soled so they will pay for themselves, and the free shoe care kit is a great idea! I had to wear them a few times to break them in (they didn’t cut, rub or blister my feet, they’re just a bit more stiff than cheap contemporary shoes) but that’s done now and I’m all ready to go!

I paid £7.50 for my first pair of plain cap Royals. First thing we did was to have rubber heel and soles with horse shoes back and front which protected the leather and you heard us coming from a mile off. Smartest and longest lasting pair of shoes i ever had and only binned them this year after 50 years faithful service. Even now 6 months on i am regretting getting rid of them, should have put them on display on a shelf somewhere.
