The Small Axe series on telly was brilliant. In the first of the episodes the story of the Mangroove was told. In one scene there is a brilliant top , it looks so like a vintage Gabicci. So we asked Gabicci , ‘can you make this again’ they say Yes.
So here you have a close copy of a great vintage item.
We love the subtle colour coordinating colours. The red is also new for Gabicci, meaning the colour is not bright primary red , nore is it Burgundy, its a lovely deep red.
In terms of outfits, i have worn with trousers and jeans, and would consider under a suit jacket, for a smart casual look

This is true to size and consistent with 66 Clothing. I wear in XL in our clothes, and the XL fits good

Reminds me of an eppy of “only fools and horses” for some reason – a good quality deep, rich red cotton – with cool white piping on the collar and pocket. Looks and feels like a quality garment. It’s a nice weight to wear on its own and looks good under your preferred top outer layers. Looks cool with my tapered indigo blue jeans and sand coloured corduroy suede desert style Base boots…seen!

My favourite modshoes/gabicci collaboration to date! Lovely detailed stitching on the collar and pockets and a stand out red that is different to other gabicci tops. Have worn with trousers and loafers for a smart look as well as jeans and desert boots for a more smart/casual look. Fab!
